Beware of the knockoffs being sold elsewhere as "Start/Stop Eliminators". These are not our products, and they do not work correctly.

The Autostop Eliminator is an intelligent device that plugs into the back of your vehicle's auto stop-start switch assembly. It restores your preference for auto start-stop automatically which eliminates the need to press the button after each ignition cycle.

Unlike diagnostic port solutions for GM vehicles, our device will not:

  • Disable the malfunction indicator light (check-engine light)
  • Drain the battery
  • Disable Active Fuel Management (AFM)
  • Interfere with airbag functionality
  • Keep the vehicle in diagnostic mode

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

Accessing the switch may seem a little intimidating to some, but it's actually not bad. First-time installers can usually install the device in 30 minutes or less. Experienced installers can install it in about 15 minutes.

The installation process for a 2025 Tahoe is different from the video. The only reasonable way to install the device on a 2025 is via the side access panel. Removing the trim panel around the switch as we show in the video below is only a reasonable approach for the 2021-2024. We don't have a video for the 2025 yet, but customers have been successful using a long right-angle pick to release the red locking tab from the side. Once that's released, it's a tight fit, but you should be able to disconnect the connector by hand.

IF YOU HAVE A DENALI MODEL YOU WILL NOT REMOVE THE UPPER APPLIQUE.  ONCE YOU HAVE THE SIDE FUSE BLOCK COVER REMOVED YOU WILL SEE 1 SCREW THAT IS HOLDING THE SWITCH PANEL IN.  REMOVE THAT SCREW TO GAIN ACCESS
