15-22 Canyon DRL Relocate Stock/LED Bulbs

 This is only for OEM headlights not aftermarket headlights.

This harness is for those with 2015-2022 GMC Canyon's that are looking to utilize the LED strip as your DRL's instead of the low beam headlight bulb.  

This harness will disable your current DRL function from the headlight bulb and distribute it to the LED strip and parking light.  The parking light and LED strip are internally wired together so there is no way to run one without the other. The headlights will automatically come on at night when headlight switch is left in Auto mode.  For those with 2015's this harness will only work on the headlights with the LED strip as 2015's had 2 headlights available. 

This version of the harness is for those running stock or LED headlamp bulbs.  If running HID bulbs please refer to our HID HARNESS .  

For those looking to add LED turn signal/park bulbs please select the appropriate option.  This option will include load resistors already added into the harness. Bulbs are not included.

If you are planning on running switchback bulbs in your truck, please know that there are many different manufacturers out there, and many of them do not function in the Canyons, they will actually produce a strobing effect as the internal capacitor in the bulb does not properly match the output from the truck.   If you install switchback bulbs and experience that issue, please know it is the bulbs and is not the harness causing the issue.

After install, please confirm the following for DRL mode.

Switch in Auto

Engine running

Adequate light hitting the dash sensor

Truck shifted out of park.  If in park no lights will be on.

When the above conditions are all met, you will have just the front ambers on

Please note this version of the harness does not utilize the battery connection as noted in the instructions.  That is for the HID version only
