Directed 513T Mini Piezo Siren – Compact Interior Add-On Car Alarm Security Siren
Directed 513T Mini Piezo Siren
Add another layer of protection to your vehicle security system with the Directed 513T Mini Piezo Siren.
The Directed 513T is a compact auxiliary piezo siren designed for automotive security systems. Its small size makes it particularly useful for concealed installation inside a vehicle, where Directed describes it as a special-application siren commonly used as an interior “pain generator.”
Instead of relying only on the vehicle's primary exterior alarm siren, installers can add the 513T inside the passenger compartment to create an additional loud audible deterrent when the security system is triggered.
COMPACT INTERIOR SECURITY SIREN
The 513T's compact housing allows installers to conceal it in locations where a conventional full-size alarm siren may be impractical.
Directed/Clifford documentation lists dimensions of approximately 2-1/4" L × 1-3/4" W × 1-1/2" H, making it easy to integrate into many custom security installations.
Its compact design makes the 513T useful for:
Cars • Trucks • SUVs • Custom vehicles • Automotive security installations
ADD ANOTHER LAYER TO YOUR CAR ALARM
A conventional alarm siren is typically installed in the engine compartment where it can alert people outside the vehicle.
The Directed 513T is often installed inside the passenger compartment as an additional siren, creating a strong audible deterrent inside the vehicle when the alarm activates. Directed's own catalogs specifically identify interior use as a primary application for this model.
For a more complete security setup, the 513T can be combined with a compatible vehicle security system, primary siren, shock sensor, tilt sensor and other alarm accessories.

ABOUT THE 120 dB CLAIM
You'll see many online listings advertise the 513T as 120 dB. However, the Directed catalogs I found call it a Mini Piezo Siren without publishing a dB specification for the 513T, while explicitly listing 120 dB for the separate 514N. For East Car Audio, I would not advertise 120 dB as a manufacturer-confirmed specification unless the packaging you have in stock states it.
That keeps your listing accurate and avoids copying an unverified marketplace specification.
WHAT'S INCLUDED
1 × Directed 513T Mini Piezo Siren
Attached wiring
Vehicle alarm/security system and other installation components are not included unless specifically offered as part of an East Car Audio bundle.
INSTALLATION NOTE
The 513T is an add-on security component, not a complete standalone vehicle alarm system.
Professional installation is recommended. Exact wiring and integration depend on the security system and vehicle being used.
Because this siren is capable of producing a very loud sound at close range, it should be positioned and tested carefully and should not be activated near a person's ears.
